LAVAlabs, Düsseldorf

A space that matches the energy of the event.

CommCon 2026 runs across two venues:

Day 1 (9 June) — Analogue Intelligence, our hackathon — is hosted at Sipgate's offices in Düsseldorf's Media Harbour.
Days 2 & 3 (10–11 June) — the conference talks — are at LAVAlabs in Ackerstraße, Flingern.

Sipgate — Day 1

Day 1 is hosted by our event partners at Sipgate, in the Media Harbour (Hafen). Lunch isn't provided, but there are some great food options nearby.

Everything inside the venues - rooms, drinks, snacks, and the evening events - is being covered by our event partners at Sipgate.

LAVAlabs — Days 2 & 3

LAVAlabs in Ackerstraße is in Flingern, one of Düsseldorf's most dynamic and creative neighbourhoods. It's got the kind of atmosphere that encourages good conversations: raw, characterful, and completely adaptable to what we need.

There'll be drinks and coffee throughout the day, plus snacks to keep you going between sessions. Lunch is on you, but Flingern is packed with great places to eat, and we'll share a curated list of recommendations ahead of the event.

Getting There

By air: Düsseldorf Airport (DUS) is well-connected across Europe and beyond. About 20 minutes from the venue by U-Bahn.

By rail: Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof has frequent ICE and IC connections. Flingern is a short public transit hop from there.

Day 1: Sipgate, Gladbacher Str. 74, Media Harbour (Hafen), Düsseldorf.

Days 2 & 3: LAVAlabs, Ackerstraße, Düsseldorf (Flingern district).
